PUMP INSTALLER

Basic Job Function: Remove and install line shaft turbine and submersible pumps and perform all tasks requested by field supervisor, project engineer or district manager.

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Operate pump rig and support equipment effectively.

Supervise and train crew members.

Maintain rig and tools to maximize productivity.

Maintain a safe work site, safe equipment and administer safety policies to ensure safe work habits of all employees.

Maintain daily worksheets, logs, etc.

Communicate with supervisor and client in a responsible and positive way.

Inspect pumps for repair estimates.

Perform post project review.

SPECIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Class A or B license preferred.

Above average mechanical aptitude.

Must be able to dead lift 80 to 100 pounds overhead throughout the daily shift.

Should have good communication skills including reading and writing.

Excellent health and ability to meet all physical requirements.

Willingness to travel.

Enjoy outside work.

Must be dependable.

Must be able to work on a team.

Must have basic math skills.

Must have welding experience.
